2 Chronicles 17:4

NIV: but sought the God of his father and followed his commands rather than the practices of Israel.

NAS: but sought the God of his father, followed His commandments, and did not act as Israel did.

KJV: But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

GWT: Instead, he dedicated his life to his ancestor's God and lived by God's commands. Jehoshaphat did not do what Israel was doing.
