2 Kings 16:3

NIV: He followed the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

NAS: But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and even made his son pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD had driven out from before the sons of Israel.

KJV: But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel.

GWT: He followed the example of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son by burning him alive. Sacrificing [children] was one of the disgusting things done by the nations that the LORD had forced out of the Israelites' way.
