2 Kings 4:28

NIV: "Did I ask you for a son, my lord?" she said. "Didn't I tell you, 'Don't raise my hopes'?"

NAS: Then she said, "Did I ask for a son from my lord? Did I not say, 'Do not deceive me'?"

KJV: Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

GWT: The woman said, "I didn't ask you for a son. I said, 'Don't raise my hopes.'"

ASV: Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?
