Acts 10:29

NIV: So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for me?"

NAS: "That is why I came without even raising any objection when I was sent for. So I ask for what reason you have sent for me."

KJV: Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

GWT: That is why I didn't object to coming here when you sent for me. I want to know why you sent for me."

ASV: wherefore also I came without gainsaying, when I was sent for. I ask therefore with what intent ye sent for me.

BBE: And so I came without question, when I was sent for. What then is your purpose in sending for me?
