Acts 13:28
NIV:  Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed.
NAS:  "And though they found no ground for putting Him to death, they asked Pilate that He be executed.
KJV:  And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
GWT:  Although they couldn't find any good reason to kill him, they asked Pilate to have him executed.
ASV:  And though they found no cause of death in him , yet asked they of Pilate that he should be slain.
BBE:  And though no cause of death was seen in him, they made a request to Pilate that he might be put to death.
