Genesis 38:10

NIV: What he did was wicked in the LORD's sight; so the LORD put him to death also.

NAS: But what he did was displeasing in the sight of the LORD; so He took his life also.

KJV: And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.

GWT: What Onan did angered the LORD so much that the LORD took away Onan's life too.
