John 5:6
NIV:  When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?"
NAS:  When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, "Do you wish to get well?"
KJV:  When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
GWT:  Jesus saw the man lying there and knew that he had been sick for a long time. So Jesus asked the man, "Would you like to get well?"
ASV:  When Jesus saw him lying, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case , he saith unto him, Wouldest thou be made whole?
BBE:  When Jesus saw him there on the floor it was clear to him that he had been now a long time in that condition, and so he said to the man, Is it your desire to get well?
