NIV:  Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.
NAS:  "Carry no money belt, no bag, no shoes; and greet no one on the way.
KJV:  Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
GWT:  Don't carry a wallet, a traveling bag, or sandals, and don't stop to greet anyone on the way.
