Luke 20:26
NIV:  They were unable to trap him in what he had said there in public. And astonished by his answer, they became silent.
NAS:  And they were unable to catch Him in a saying in the presence of the people; and being amazed at His answer, they became silent.
KJV:  And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
GWT:  They couldn't make him say anything wrong in front of the people. His answer surprised them, so they said no more.
ASV:  And they were not able to take hold of the saying before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
BBE:  And they were not able to get anything from these words before the people: but they were full of wonder at his answer, and said nothing.
DBY:  And they were not able to take hold of him in his expressions before the people, and, wondering at his answer, they were silent.
