Matthew 24:22

NIV: "If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

NAS: "Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

KJV: And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

GWT: If God does not reduce the number of those days, no one will be saved. But those days will be reduced because of those whom God has chosen.
