Psalm 49:8

NIV: the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough--

NAS: For the redemption of his soul is costly, And he should cease trying forever--

KJV: (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)

GWT: The price to be paid for his soul is too costly. He must always give up
