NIV: Meonothai was the father of Ophrah. Seraiah was the father of Joab, the father of GeHarashim. It was called this because its people were skilled workers.
NAS: Meonothai became the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah became the father of Joab the father of Ge-harashim, for they were craftsmen.
KJV: And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.
