1 John 2:4
NIV:  Whoever says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.
NAS:  The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
KJV:  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
GWT:  The person who says, "I know him," but doesn't obey his commandments is a liar. The truth isn't in that person.
ASV:  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
BBE:  The man who says, I have knowledge of him, and does not keep his laws, is false, and there is nothing true in him:
DBY:  He that says, I know him, and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
DRB:  He who saith that he knoweth him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
