Ecclesiastes 8:7

NIV: Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?

NAS: If no one knows what will happen, who can tell him when it will happen?

KJV: For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?

GWT: They don't know what the future will bring. So who can tell them how things will turn out?

ASV: for he knoweth not that which shall be; for who can tell him how it shall be?

BBE: No one is certain what is to be, and who is able to say to him when it will be?

DBY: for he knoweth not that which shall be; for who can tell him how it shall be?

DRB: Because he is ignorant of things past, and things to come he cannot know by any messenger.
