Isaiah 53:4
NIV:  Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
NAS:  Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
KJV:  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
GWT:  He certainly has taken upon himself our suffering and carried our sorrows, but we thought that God had wounded him, beat him, and punished him.
ASV:  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
BBE:  But it was our pain he took, and our diseases were put on him: while to us he seemed as one diseased, on whom God's punishment had come.
