Job 1:1
NIV:  In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.
NAS:  There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless, upright, fearing God and turning away from evil.
KJV:  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
GWT:  A man named Job lived in Uz. He was a man of integrity: He was decent, he feared God, and he stayed away from evil.
ASV:  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and turned away from evil.
BBE:  There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job. He was without sin and upright, fearing God and keeping himself far from evil.
