Lamentations 3:28

NIV: Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him.

NAS: Let him sit alone and be silent Since He has laid it on him.

KJV: He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.

GWT: They should sit alone and remain silent because the LORD has laid these burdens on them.

ASV: Let him sit alone and keep silence, because he hath laid it upon him.
