NIV:  Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
NAS:  But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was.
KJV:  And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
GWT:  She was startled by what the angel said and tried to figure out what this greeting meant.
ASV:  But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this might be.
BBE:  But she was greatly troubled at his words, and said to herself, What may be the purpose of these words?
