Matthew 14:9
NIV:  The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he ordered that her request be granted
NAS:  Although he was grieved, the king commanded it to be given because of his oaths, and because of his dinner guests.
KJV:  And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
GWT:  The king regretted his promise. But because of his oath and his guests, he ordered that her wish be granted.
ASV:  And the king was grieved; but for the sake of his oaths, and of them that sat at meat with him, he commanded it to be given;
