Romans 8:24
NIV:  For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?
NAS:  For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?
KJV:  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
GWT:  We were saved with this hope in mind. If we hope for something we already see, it's not really hope. Who hopes for what can be seen?
ASV:  For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth?
