Deuteronomy 1:13

NIV: Choose some wise, understanding and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you."

NAS: 'Choose wise and discerning and experienced men from your tribes, and I will appoint them as your heads.'

KJV: Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
